Computer Science Engineering with a specialization in Cyber Security addresses the rising demand for secure digital systems amid growing cyber threats. The program blends core computer science with advanced security skills to prepare students for real-world challenges. Graduates are equipped to combat AI-driven attacks, quantum risks, and global cyber warfare, ensuring resilient and secure digital environments.

LEARNING SCOPE

The Cyber Security curriculum is aligned with global standards, combining core computer science subjects with specialized training in areas like ethical hacking, cryptography, cyber forensics, and secure software development. Students gain hands-on experience in advanced labs, learn tools and techniques from global leaders like EC-Council. The program also builds expertise in programming (C, Python, Java Full Stack, MERN Stack) and covers key compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001. Delivered by industry-trained faculty, it equips students to tackle evolving cyber threats with confidence.

Dr.S.K.Harikarthik has 17 years of experience in Engineering Education. He has received his Bachelor’s in Information Technology from Kumaraguru College of Technology, Master’s in Information Technology from Anna University and PhD in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai. His research area includes Software Engineering and Networks. He published research papers in reputed Journals and Conferences. He had been the Session Chair, and Panellist in several conferences. He guided 30+ Undergraduate and Postgraduate Projects for Anna University and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University students. He is nominated as Program Advisory Committee member for formulating syllabus for the Computer Engineering department of Nachimuthu Polytechnic College, Pollachi.  He is life time member in ISTE and he acted as Nodal officer for Anna University examinations.

With an academic background featuring a CGPA of 8 from Sri Eshwar College of Engineering and a B.E. from Vivekanandha College of Engineering for Women, she combines technical expertise with a passion for classroom teaching and curriculum development. Her research contributions include a published paper in IEEE Xplore regarding Machine Learning-based cardiovascular disease prediction and presentations on vehicular accident monitoring at international conferences. Technically proficient in Python, C, C++, Java, and HTML/CSS, she is also certified in C by the Spoken Tutorial Project, IIT Bombay. Her professional profile is further distinguished by achievements in Java8 and PHP, as well as specialized training in bioinformatics software tools, reflecting a comprehensive commitment to advancing the fields of network security and computer engineering.

He also brings three years of professional experience as a Mainframe Developer at Tata Consultancy Services, where he specialized in COBOL programming and the maintenance of high-volume enterprise systems, developing a strong foundation in software reliability and structured problem-solving. Currently, he is enhancing his expertise in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, and Full Stack Development, with a focus on integrating his experience in robust legacy systems with modern, scalable, and intelligent computing solutions.

Ms Suchithra is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sri Eshwar College of Engineering. She has completed her B.Tech and M.E in Computer Science Engineering domain at Anna University, Chennai. She has obtained her MBA in Human Resources Management from Bharathiyar University. She is a Gold Medalist in both her UG & PG programs. She is currently pursuing her research in Space Data Analytics at Anna University. She has a teaching experience of 11 years, a technology enthusiast and a researcher, who has published 13 papers and 10 patents to her credit, out of which 2 patents have been granted. She has authored two books in Artificial Intelligence & Cyber Security. Her areas of specializations are Data Structures and Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming with Java, Networks and Cyber Security. She is a Wipro Certified Faculty and is recognized as the mentor for Project Based Learning (PBL) in Java Full Stack from Wipro Technologies, Bangalore. She is an Intel Certified Instructor for Intel Rendering Toolkit, for Machine Learning, for oneAPI C SYCL Essentials and for CUDA to C SYCL. She is a Saptang Labs trained Cyber Security Faculty. She is a Cybercrime Intervention Officer and a Cybercrime Incident Responder. She has received funding of $500 for the establishment of WiCyS Student Chapter and is a faculty mentor of WiCyS – SECE Student Chapter. She has served as a resource person & a keynote speaker at various events. She is the reviewer of “International Conference on Electrical, Computer, Communications and Mechatronics Engineering (ICECCME)”. She is a lifetime member of ISTE. She remains as a Director Board Member in many student startups.  She is the SPOC for British Petroleum Mentoring.

Mr.R. Karthick is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, Coimbatore. He holds a B.Tech. in Information Technology and an M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Galgotias University. He brings over nine years of academic experience and two years in industry, with expertise in Android development and Java technologies. He has completed NPTEL certifications in Cloud Computing and Python for Data Science and has been trained in Outcome-Based Education (OBE). He has filed five patents under IPR, Govt. of India, and has published six SCOPUS-indexed journal papers and twelve IEEE and ACM international conference papers. He has technical proficiency in Android, iOS, and web application frameworks. He is an active member of ACM, IAENG, IFERP, and ICSES. He has served as an LMS (Moodle) developer and trainer. He also delivered a two-week virtual training program for students on problem-solving and programming using C and Python at the University of Kadiri, Indonesia.
