Examination Committee
The Examination Committee is established to ensure the efficient, transparent, and fair conduct of all internal and external examinations within the institution. It is entrusted with the entire examination process and strictly adheres to institutional policies and regulatory norms, thereby upholding the integrity and credibility of the examination system. In addition, the committee assumes responsibility for quality assurance of examinations, maintaining academic standards and supporting outcome-based education. The Examination Committee members disperses their duties as per the directions of head of the institution and assists in all examinations related works, exam conduction, evaluation, result processing and declaration of results.
OBJECTIVES
To develop clear and transparent mechanism for assessment and evaluation of students.
To prepare the examination calendar in alignment with academic calendar.
To hold a pre-exam meeting to brief the members and faculties with regard to the examination procedures and their role and responsibilities.
To communicate instructions effectively to the students through various channels, such as e-mails, notice boards and institute’s Learning Management System.
To ensure that both internal and external examinations are aligned with the competencies and learning outcomes required by the respective programme and to participate in formal review panels for examinations as and when required.
To address the grievances/ complaints of the students and staff concerning exam-related issues.
Recommend appropriate action towards the malpractice cases in the examinations.
To address cases of negligence or unfair means by paper setters, examiners, evaluators, scrutiny members or any individuals involved in the conduct of examinations and to determine and implement appropriate disciplinary actions as necessary.
