We, as an institution lay enormous emphasis on Industry-Institute Interaction activities. We put in every effort that is required to provide the industry with highly qualified and skilled fresh engineers. A separate Industry-Institute Interaction Cell has been established and lead by a senior leader with over 30+ years of industry experience.
The activities of the Industry Institute Interaction Cell include frequent visit and meeting with the industry representatives, signing of MoUs with companies, establishing and maintaining Centres of Excellence, planning and conducting our annual flagship event viz., Sri Eshwar Industry Connect, facilitating faculty summer internship with industry.
We have signed MoUs with leading companies including Mitsubishi Electric, Virtusa, Aspire Systems, Roots Industries, to name a few. The MoUs help in maintaining lasting relationship with the companies and carrying out various activities through effective collaboration.
As early as 2014, we promoted the concept of Centre of Excellence through which we provide industry ready recruits by training them on company provided curriculum during their 8th semester. We have established Centres of Excellence of Virtusa, Aspire Systems, Kovai.Co with dedicated space provided at Sri Eshwar IT Centre to carry out the training activities. We train the recruits and get them professionally certified for the given technologies before they join the companies.
Extended Development Centres (EDC) of leading companies including Bahwan CyberTek, Cloud Kinetics, Sysnautix Technologies and CADeploy have been established at Sri Eshwar IT Centre. Employees of these companies operate from the EDCs. Our students get trained and provided with internship while they are studying in the college by these companies. Students who are recruited by these companies also work from the EDCs.
