Hostellers spend most of their time away from their home and it is important and critical that we provide them with a holistic and enjoyable experience during their stay in the hostel. We strive to provide best of hostel experience to its hostellers with due care, attention and a host of facilities. Hostels have been constructed separately for boys and girls in a sprawling green ambience. Resident faculty members extend support to the hostellers with regard to their studies. The hostellers also have access to the various laboratories beyond normal class hours, to enhance their knowledge and skills. Round the clock security and surveillance cameras in various locations ensure safety and security of the inmates.
The Gents hostel comprises of 5 aesthetic blocks with 261 rooms and a capacity to accommodate 1050 students. The boys’ hostels comprise of various types of rooms including 2 sharing, 3 sharing, 4 sharing and apartment style, with a variety of amenities. The students are given the option to choose the rooms based on their requirements, on a first come first serve basis.

In order to ensure efficient and effective management of the hostels, A Hostel Administration Committee, comprising senior staff, ensures efficient management. Competent wardens oversee key aspects: Discipline, Food, Events, and Maintenance. Monthly meetings with student representatives to gather feedback, drive improvements, and ensure satisfaction. Swift corrective actions are initiated for student satisfaction.
To manage the hostel on a day-to-day basis, the following warden roles have been established:
Warden-Discipline & Attendance
 The Warden-Discipline & Attendance ensures adherence to hostel timings and room cleanliness. Utilizing the hostel’s biometric system, they monitor hostellers’ movements, providing exception reports to management.
Warden – Food
The Warden-Food conducts Food Committee meetings every quarter for menu updates. Ongoing feedback from hostellers about food quality and dining hall hygiene is regularly gathered, leading to prompt corrective actions.
Warden – Events & Training
The Warden Events & Training Conducts Activities for hostellers, ranging from monthly movie nights and cultural gatherings to sports events, Food festivals, and wellness workshops. Furthermore, Sessions on self-defense and promotes social activities for a well-rounded experience.
Warden – Hostel Maintenance
The Warden-Hostel Maintenance prioritizes the cleanliness and hygiene of hostel rooms and surroundings. Surprise inspections are conducted to ensure consistent neatness. Recognizing efforts, a monthly award is given to the best-maintained room in each block, fostering a culture of cleanliness among hostellers.
