The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Unit at Sri Eshwar College of Engineering was officially sanctioned on 28 December 2020 under the NCC Army Wing, 2 (TN) CTC NCC, Coimbatore, with an authorized strength of 50 Senior Division/Senior Wing (SD/SW) cadets. The unit is actively functioning under the leadership of Lt. M. Mahaboob, Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, who serves as the Associate NCC Officer (ANO). Lt. Mahaboob successfully completed 90 days of intensive army training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Kamptee, Nagpur, and has been commissioned with the rank of Lieutenant. Our NCC cadets undergo rigorous training and fostering discipline, leadership, and national spirit. Training is conducted by Officers and Instructional Staff deputed by the NCC Army Wing, ensuring high standards and commitment to the values of the Corps. The NCC unit at Sri Eshwar plays a vital role in grooming future leaders with a strong sense of duty, service, and patriotism.
