Dr.G.Karuppusami
Dean - Research & Community Outreach
Dr. G. Karuppusami brings over 40 years of extensive industry and academic leadership experience. He has held prominent roles as a Principal of Engineering colleges, and Dean of Engineering at a Deemed to be University, along with significant industry experience in Saudi and Tamil Nadu. A distinguished alumnus of PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, Dr. Karuppusami earned his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (Hons), Master’s in Industrial Engineering, and Ph.D. in Production Engineering, all from the same institution.
Since 2013, Dr. Karuppusami has been serving as the Dean of Research at Sri Eshwar College of Engineering. Under his leadership, the college has secured external grants totalling 2 crores for research, innovation, and extension activities. He has enhanced the research visibility of the college by receiving research grants, high-quality publications, and patents in extramural research. Dr. Karuppusami continues to nurture a vibrant research ecosystem, aligning with the institution’s vision of becoming a premier research hub. His work also actively extends into Community Outreach, where Dr.Karuppusami has been instrumental in championing initiatives related to Unnat Bharath Abhyan and other community outreach activities for Sri Eshwar.
