Dr.V.Magesh Kannan

Dr. Magesh Kannan V is a passionate professional with 15+ years of teaching and research experience, brings a wealth of expertise in NBA, NAAC, ABET accreditation, NIRF and QS rankings. He has bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, masters in Thermal Engineering and PhD under the faculty of Mechanical Engineering in fuel cells. He is certified by the International Society for Engineering Pedagogy as an Engineering Educator through the International Engineering Educator Certification Program. He played a key role as a Nodal Officer in Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP II & III) which was funded by world bank to the tune of 22.5 Crores (2013 to 2020). He has executed technical projects funded by AICTE – RPS, DST-UKIERI, NPIU – CRS RAEngg.–TSP and DST-CRG to the tune of 2.7 Crores. He has also executed Industrial projects by Faurecia and RBEI to the tune of 30 lakhs. He has organized 24 programmes with a total funding of 60 lakhs catering to about 10000 audiences. He has trained about 300 industry personnel Daimler India Commercial Vehicles and Renault Nissan vide vocational training programmes. He has about 20 Peer Reviewed Publications to his credit.
