Library Advisory Committee
In line with best practices in academic governance, Sri Eshwar College of Engineering has
constituted a Library Advisory Committee to ensure effective planning, development, and
administration of library services and resources. The committee functions as a consultative
body to support the library’s mission in promoting research, teaching, and learning across
undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programe.
OBJECTIVES
The Library Advisory Committee is established with the following key objectives:
To recommend suitable annual budget allocations for library development and digital resource subscriptions.
To formulate and periodically review library policies related to procurement and usage.
To assess the academic and research needs of various departments and recommend resources accordingly.
To develop a strategic plan for enhancing library services and infrastructure in alignment with institutional goals.
To advise on the integration of technology and digital tools to improve user access and experience.
To approve or revise library rules and regulations, ensuring fairness and efficiency in library operations.
To support the preservation and archiving of physical and digital resources for long- term access.
To oversee the smooth and effective functioning of the Central Library.
MODES OF GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL
- Drop a letter in Grievance/Suggestion Box available in front of the office.
