ACADEMIC COURSES

Sri Eshwar College of Engineering offers a comprehensive range of academic programmes designed to equip students with the 21^st-century skills and knowledge needed for successful careers in engineering, research and entrepreneurship. Our academic offerings include 10 undergraduate programmes in engineering, 3 postgraduate programmes in engineering, and research degrees (PhD) across all disciplines, including science and humanities.

The Centre for Academic Courses is dedicated to maintain and enhancing the quality and structure of our academic program. Major Responsibilities are to,

Develop and implement academic regulations.

Design and update curriculum and syllabus for the various programmes offered

Establish and coordinate the constitution of various academic committees and the conduct of academic committee meetings such as the Academic Council, Standing Committee and Boards of Studies.

Coordinate meetings of Department Advisory Committees, Programme Assessment Committees, Course Committees and class committees.

Implement Outcome-Based Education (OBE).

Prepare the academic calendar for U.G. and P.G. programmes and oversee its implementation.

Facilitate the preparation of course plans for U.G. and P.G. programmes by the faculty and oversee the effective implementation of these plans using effective teaching methodologies.

Implement the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) system.

Integrate National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 guidelines into the academic policy for implementation.

Approve course changes for transfer and break-of-study students and manage break-of-study, rejoining, and exam withdrawal requests.
