Library Advisory Committee
The Library at Sri Eshwar College of Engineering serves as a vital academic resource centre
supporting the teaching-learning and research needs of students and faculty. It fosters
independent learning, promotes intellectual curiosity, and encourages the development of
critical thinking skills. Equipped with a diverse collection of books, journals, and digital
resources, the library plays a key role in the academic growth and holistic development of the
college community.
OBJECTIVES
The Library at Sri Eshwar College of Engineering aims to provide comprehensive, inclusive, and technology-enabled services that support the academic and research needs of its UG, PG, and Ph.D. community. Its specific objectives related to library services are:
To provide seamless and equitable access to library resources and services for all users.
To support teaching, learning, and research by offering timely reference, circulation, and information services.
To build partnerships and network with other libraries and consortia for enhanced access to scholarly content.
To offer digital library services, including access to e-books, e-journals, databases, and institutional repositories.
To preserve and maintain long-term availability of both physical and digital collections through effective management and digitization.
To conduct user orientation and information literacy programmes to help stakeholders effectively use library tools and services.
To facilitate inter-library loan, document delivery, and remote access services to expand the reach of information resources.
To implement modern library management systems for efficient cataloguing, circulation, and resource discovery.
To continuously assess and upgrade library services based on user feedback and emerging academic needs.
MODES OF GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL
